November 7th, the Li Weibo Charity Foundation of Shenzhen was formally established after being approved by the Civil Affairs Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality. The Li Weibo Charity Foundation is classified as a private charity foundation, and the original funds of the foundation are 2 million RMB, which originated from a one-time contribution by the Glory Harvest Group Chairman Mr. Li Weibo.    

The aim of the foundation is to "explore the development of China's characteristic modern charities, establish a corporate social responsibility platform, and promote social harmony and progress", and to devote effort to providing financial aid for education, medical treatment and environmental protection undertakings; provide disaster relief assistance and help disadvantaged communities; provide financial aid for the promotion of public-welfare, charitable and volunteer activities; and to provide financial aid for the editing and publishing of charity publications.

Mr. Li Weibo has always upheld his goal to "sow the seeds of compassion, give back to the community, and carry out duties with benevolence," and he has actively devoted himself to public-welfare and charitable undertakings. Over the years, a total of 50 million RMB in donations has been accumulated in Shenzhen and Hong Kong that has been used in areas such as education, medical treatments, environmental protection, and disaster relief assistance to help a wide range of society, including advantaged and disadvantaged school children, impoverished students, handicapped persons, widowers, widows, orphans and childless couples. It is because of his passion for social welfare and charity undertakings, and for promoting the development of these undertakings, that Mr. Li Weibo decided to establish the "Li Weibo Charity Foundation of Shenzhen".

The establishment of the Li Weibo Charity Foundation will help influence people through this small act of benevolence by Li Weibo, it will promote the spirit of charity, increase people's awareness of charities, and allow more people to participate in charities, thereby bringing together compassion from all around and putting it into a powerful flood of charity that will soak the lands of China.
