GHG Holds an HR Salon

GHG HR Salon was held at Hengqin Bay Hotel in Zhuhai from July 18 to 19, 2014. During the salon seminar, participants studied and discussed a series of issues such as the planning, management, and division of labor of human resource strategies, talents cultivation, and incentive. In addition, GHG also hosted Case Sharing of Huawei Strategic Management. Li Weibo, Chairman of GHG, executives and business backbones from all sectors and subsidiary corporations, as well as project leaders of Glory Harvest Real Estate attended the salon.

After a brief video review of human resource memorabilia, the Department of Personnel Administration awarded two appointment letters to appoint Mr. Huang Xiyin as Vice President of GHG, and Mr. Liu Zheng as COO of GHG. Mr. Guan Lihui, Director of the Department of Personnel Administration, delivered a keynote speech on the salon seminar, and made detailed and in-depth analyses of three issues, namely, human resource planning, human resource function of GHG headquarters, as well as talents cultivation and incentive. Subsequently, executives from all sectors and subsidiary corporations gave keynote addresses respectively. Some made suggestions on the existing problems of the Group's human resource management. Others proceeded from the Group's business and industrial characteristics, and explored the organization of human resources, which triggered more thoughts of on-site participants. During the discussion and communication, participants actively asked questions, aired their own opinions, and explored the Group's strategic management of human resources in an open, interactive, and relaxing atmosphere. Active engagement enabled them to broaden visions, enhance communications, and further build consensus on the Group's human resource strategies.

Chairman Li summarized the eras where GHG stood at different stages, and listed various measures GHG took in talent motivation. Meanwhile, Li put forward the Group's strategic development planning in coming years powered by the trend of mobile Internet era. Liu Zheng, COO of GHG, made a review of the salon seminar, and analyzed the background of the salon as well as the process of confirming seminar essentials. Liu expected this salon seminar to provide guidance for the planning of human resource strategies.

Moreover, Doctor Jiang Weiliang was specially invited to share strategic management cases of Huawei. Based on his management experience in Huawei, Dr. Jiang took the example of Huawei's strategic evolvement from the initial stage to transformative development stage, and then self-organizing development stage, and explained the formulation and implementation of strategies in an easy-to-understand approach. Each group made interactions and discussions with the speaker actively, and thought over the characteristics of GHG's four major industries.

The salon offered numerous reference bases for the formulation of human resource strategies and systems, and encouraged more thoughts over the ways of and strategies for attracting, cultivating, and retaining talents. The salon seminar enabled participants to study and think over the methods of strategy formulation and implementation, enlightened their thinking, and expanded their horizon. These achievements are bound to boost a better and faster development of GHG.

The salon seminar was jointly held by Glory Harvest University and Department of Personnel Administration of GHG. In the salon seminar, Chairman Li led participants to visit Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort, Hengqin Island, Zhuhai.
